Overnight Night Nanny

While lack of sleep is to be expected when bringing home a newborn; studies show it carries with it some risks ranging from an increase in depression and anxiety symptoms in either or both parents; to interference with breastfeeding and higher levels of frustration.
Night Nannies care for babies overnight, so that parents can get a full night of sleep; enabling them to better mentally, emotionally and physically function the next day. Night Nannies take over the overnight maintenance of caring for a baby; changing diapers, crib sheets, and pajamas when Baby soils them. They soothe, feed and lovingly care for Baby; helping them to get back to sleep after a feeding, diaper change or fussy period. Night nannies also help to establish and maintain a sleep routine or sleep schedule for or with parents, and will offer tips and tricks for infant care to new parents. Night Nannies are great support to keep around through developmental leaps that often times cause sleep regression, even with a baby that was previously sleeping through the night; because it is the night nanny who will stay up with Baby instead of you.

Some of my clients have reported to me that they feel almost super human the next day or two after having gotten a full night of uninterrupted sleep. They are able to be more creative in figuring things out instinctively; and more grace-filled and patient with themselves and their families.

"A few nights a week, Maggie would do an overnight visit, allowing us uninterrupted sleep between feedings. These nights were key to keeping us sane! I would highly recommend Maggie" - Kerry F.

"Maggie told us...'I think the temperature in the house is just right, but I think the baby will sleep better if you double-layer the          swaddle'--- our baby literally started sleeping through the night RIGHT THEN. Not to mention the immeasurable value of getting a solid night's sleep now and again, after handing the baby off to someone who we trusted deeply enough to simply not worry until morning came."-Stephen A.
